ARCT

Hello, builder

Build in the open. Grow together.

Arct Developments is a young team making open source easier to start, easier to enjoy and easier to share. We write software in public, and we are building a community that cheers for each other's work.

// vision

Open source should be the first place a new developer feels welcome.

Most people meet open source as a repository they are nervous to touch. We want to change that first impression. Arct exists to make open source familiar: to show how projects are really made, what a first contribution looks like, and why sharing code is one of the kindest things a developer can do.

We are also building a community around it, a circle of people who love open source and say so out loud. Someone fixes a typo in the docs. Someone ships a feature. Someone designs the banner. All of it counts, and all of it gets credit.

We are students, so we learn in public. We ship, we break things, we fix them, and we write down what we found so the next person has an easier start than we did.

PULL REQUESTOpen
Fix typo in CONTRIBUTING.md
A first pull request from someone new. Waiting for a review.Nice catch, thank you! Merging this in a moment.Merged. Your name is in the credits.
MAKE IT FAMILIAR

Plain-language docs, readable code and honest write-ups of how we build, so a newcomer can follow along.

WELCOME FIRST STEPS

Clear issues, patient reviews and thanks that arrives before the merge, not after.

APPRECIATE EACH OTHER

Credit is part of how we work. We name the people, projects and ideas we build on, and we ask others to do the same for us.

LEARN IN PUBLIC

Every project is a classroom. Mistakes stay in the history and the lessons go in the docs.

Where we are heading

  • Turn more of our work in cloud, hosting, bots and apps into open projects that people actually use.
  • Publish a contributor guide written for people who have never opened a pull request.
  • Feature community members and their work on this site, with proper credit.
  • Keep every project open, documented and friendly to the next contributor.

// story

Two states, one Discord server, one team.

Atishay lives in Jharkhand and Vedant lives in Chhattisgarh. They never shared a classroom. They met on Discord, where a love of open source and anime gave them plenty to talk about, and the conversation turned into building.

In 2024 the two friends started Team Realmx. Since then they have worked across many fields, including cloud, server hosting, Discord bots and Android apps, and learned how to plan, ship and maintain real software together from two different cities.

In 2026 the team took a new name, Arct Developments, along with a clearer purpose: build useful things in the open and bring more people into open source with them. Same two friends, bigger ambition.

// how we work

From a spark to a release, one signal at a time.

Every Arct project follows the same path. Vedant leads, Atishay assists, and the whole thing happens in public.

Together

Spark

An idea comes up between the two of us. We talk it through and decide whether it is worth building.

1
Vedant

Direction

As lead, Vedant sets the goal, picks the stack and decides what ships first.

2
Vedant leads · Atishay assists

Build

The code gets written in the open, one commit at a time, with both of us in the repository.

3
Together

Refine

Feedback, issues and pull requests shape the result. We keep what helps and simplify the rest.

4
Atishay

Present

Atishay builds the website, designs the graphics and plans the launch posts and marketing.

5

Share

We release under an open licence, credit everyone we build on, and invite the community in.
